A main theme "Friendship of the heroines" is succeeded from the former work. However, two heroines of former work's do not appear in the work now. The story is completely reformed. New heroines are "Saki Hyuuga" and "Mai Misyou". Each heroines become legend fighters named "Cuablum"(motif from flower) and "Cuaegret"(motif from bird).

Toei is explaining this renewal as follows.

We are not caught in the viewer's age rise, aim at making of the work a long life, and aim at a further expansion of "Pretty Cure" series.

The popularity of the series is especially high in the girls in the layer in childhood now. In "MaxHeart" of the second works, data (Toei animation examination) of recording 62.5% in the audience rating survey intended for the girl of 4-6 years has come out. I want to maintain this popularity large-scale of this time and renewedly, and to pay attention to whether "Expansion" that Toei thinks about in addition can be attempted.
