Prime Minister Koizumi thought the Nihonbashi spectacle to be "Worldwide showplace".
According to [Sankei Web], Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi conferred with chairmen of Japan of Okuda Federation of Economic Organizations on December 26. The Ministry of Finance auctions off 2445 gold coins by the net auction. The gold coin of 10 million yen a piece also!
[ Ministry of Finance ] announced that they will sell "Modern gold coins" at internet auction from 3rd to 19th in February of next year([ announcement release ]). The number of sheets that the Ministry of Finance sells off by this auction is 2445 pieces. The preliminary inspection association is held for four days from February 1 before the auction begins in [ Shinwa art museum ] of Tokyo , Ginza.
